Dr S.H. Goh is the Director and Managing Consultant at the Asia Pacific Logistics Impact Centre. Dr Goh has more than 15 years of managerial experience in the logistics and transportation industry in Asia, across multiple sub-sectors from domestic distribution, warehousing, freight forwarding, demand planning to container shipping. He has served as a subject-matter expert in logistics and supply chain management for some of the world's leading management consultancies.
Dr Goh's professional expertise are in strategy development, driving transformational growth and organisational restructuring. He has facilitated executive workshops on logistics innovation and integrated business planning for senior managers in countries across Asia, such as China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore and Thailand. As a qualified Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Dr Goh is experienced in advising on mergers & acquisitions (M&A) and joint ventures (JV) within the logistics industry throughout the Asia-Pacific region, in areas such as investment evaluation, buy-versus-build analysis and deal structuring.
Dr Goh is also an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the National University of Singapore (NUS), an Adjunct Faculty at the Singapore Management University (SMU) and an Associate Faculty at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS). A management scientist and an industrial engineer by training, Dr Goh's research and teaching interests are in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, International Trade and Analytics/Statistics.
